SALTY COWGIRL

The Salty Cowgirl Photography logo encapsulates the essence of the wild and free-spirited nature of the West, fused with a chic and contemporary touch. Inspired by the rugged charm of classic Western imagery and the boldness of modern design aesthetics, this project was a balancing act between homage and innovation. The creation of the primary and alternate logos required a deep dive into typographic design, where I developed the 'Froadmile' typeface—a nod to vintage Western signage with a fresh, stylistic twist. Choosing a color palette that resonates with the brand's playful and adventurous spirit, I employed color theory to combine light and dark pinks with turquoise, ensuring the logo makes a memorable impact.

Delving into this project allowed me to expand my expertise in vector graphics and scalability, ensuring the logo's functionality across various mediums. Each element, from the stylized cowboy hat to the custom lettering, was crafted to maintain integrity whether displayed on a business card or a billboard. This attention to detail not only honed my technical skills but also deepened my understanding of how design elements work together to create a coherent visual identity.

Developing the style guide for Salty Cowgirl Photography was an exercise in branding consistency and strategic thinking. I meticulously outlined the use of the logos, color palette, typeface, and additional graphics, considering every touchpoint where the brand would make an impression. The skills developed in this project are evident in the precision of the logos and the thoughtful construction of the brand's visual narrative, ready to leave a lasting impression in the competitive world of photography branding.
