My work with FEIGN for their S/S 20 collection has been a riveting odyssey through the gritty essence of punk culture and the refined contours of high fashion. The campaign visuals I created encapsulate the brand’s ethos: rebellious yet polished, defiant yet sophisticated. Drawing inspiration from the raw energy of New York's underground scenes and the rebellious spirit of punk aesthetics, I aimed to forge a connection between FEIGN's cutting-edge designs and the unapologetic boldness of the city’s streets.
The graphic elements, characterized by rough textures and distressed typefaces against high-contrast imagery, evoke the anarchic roots of punk while maintaining the sleek composure of modern fashion. The interplay of monochrome with selective splashes of color mirrors FEIGN's ability to balance avant-garde disruption with wearable art. This visual language was consistently woven through the creation of social media advertisements, the announcement video for NYMD, and two captivating videos showcasing the collection.
Managing FEIGN's social media account allowed me to translate this stylistic narrative into a fluid digital presence, engaging the audience with a consistent storytelling experience. Through the creation of digital marketing assets, I fine-tuned my skills in graphic composition, blending layered imagery and typography to produce assets that are not just seen but felt. My proficiency in motion graphics was honed with each video piece, combining rhythmic cuts with dynamic typography animations to capture the collection's movement and impact.
The portfolio of work for FEIGN has been a testament to the synthesis of inspiration and skill. It reflects a deepened expertise in visual storytelling, motion graphics, and the development of a cohesive digital marketing strategy that resonates with the heart of the brand.
